Participation in practices and games hinges on school attendance.  In order for a student to participate in a school-day practice or competition, the student must be in attendance at school before 12:00 p.m.  Field trips, alternate learning experiences, medical/dental appointments, and special family situations (i.e. funerals and weddings) are generally considered excused absences.  A student who is ill or has an unexcused absence the day of an event, will not be allowed to participate in that day’s event.  Please communicate all known absences ahead of time with your child’s coach and/or the Athletic Director.
